• Who is behind the YXE Gospel Choir Experience?

  • Who is invited to participate?

    Everyone who registers! Remember to invite friends and family to the evening concert. Tickets available for a small fee. Don’t come because you’re a singer, come because you want to sing some good gospel music and learn some Gospel vocal technique! Registrants ages 14 and up are welcome. Younger registrants will be considered on an individual basis.

  • What will the music be like?

    The songs will include music by Mary Mary, Elevation Worship, Hezekiah Walker and Richard Smallwood.

  • Do you need to have any music reading or theory  skills?

    No

  • What is the Gospel Choir Experience?

    The Gospel Choir workshop experience is aimed at providing members of the Saskatoon community with an enriching opportunity to come together and learn Gospel choir songs, techniques, and perform. The event will start on Thursday with a brief and informative Zoom call. Then continuing on Friday evening to Saturday night, concluding with a concert featuring the newly learned songs. This promises to be a joyous and uplifting occasion for participants and attendees alike.

  • What do I wear for the Finale Concert?

    Please wear or bring an all black outfit so the choir can have an easy cohesive appearance.

    No. There are restaurants and easy lunch locations available nearby. You are also welcome to pack a lunch.
